Meke and Lovo Night

INCLUDED

4 & 7 night cruises

Experience a traditional Fijian Lovo (a meal cooked in an underground oven) and Meke performance (dancing and singing) from the local villagers.

Available for guests on the 4 and 7 night cruise only, experience a traditional Fijian meal cooked in the underground oven known as a 'Lovo'. This meal is prepared and laid into the oven on our land at Nanuya Island during the day and served that evening for dinner.

After dinner, guests are treated to some insights into the lives of the Yasawa people and a brief history of the village. This is followed by a traditional 'Yaqona Ceremony' and a Meke (singing and dancing) performance from the local island villagers.
